It's been a life-long dream of mine to see Orcas in the wild. Earlier this year I looked into seeing them in northern Norway, but three flights, -15 degrees Celsius and only four hours of daylight seemed like quite a challenge. After reading a Guardian article, the Ten Best Wildlife Holidays in Europe I found that a group of orcas spend two months off the south of Spain, near a town called Tarifa.

I elected to book a tour with Firmm (foundation for information and research on marine mammals) as opposed to the tourist boats, and the results were incredible. A bucket list item ticked off.
